I originally purchased the adventure backpack for myself over a year ago, but my husband stole it. I'm happy the bag is discounted because I needed to buy another one!The backpack is perfect for me because I travel for work and often go hiking or on other adventures when visiting new places. I can use the backpack in a professional situation during meetings because of the sleek and modest design but then can dump my laptop and other heavy items and pack it with hiking needs (love the beer/baby bottle cooler!). It's rugged materials keep it from getting scratched from rocks, etc., so I can continue to use it with my job. It has held up beautifully over the past year and I have put it through the wringer.My husband is a stay at home daddy and immediately started using it with our young two kiddos. We had already purchased a super cool "daddy" diaper bag and he ditched it for the adventure proof backpack. He loves it because he can pack a million different things for the kids (toys, blankets, snacks and drinks in the cooler) and it comes with a stink-proof bag for dirty diapers or wet clothes. He also loves the changing pad because it is easy to access in a hurry and super easy to clean. Plus, he often takes his laptop with him to get some work in, and the laptop is protected from all the other kid stuff that often gets messy. His favorite note (for a neat freak) is that the adventure proof backpack accommodates all of these things in a compact and orderly fashion. It comes apart and goes back together smoothly and looks meticulously clean all the time. Super thoughtful and handy element. Because, as parents, we lose everything!Side note 2: I remove the diaper changing pad because I don't need it during meetings, but I add it back for hiking because I can sit on it while relaxing in the wilderness because it's comfy and protects my leggings from getting torn.
