UPDATE: The side zip of the bag came undone while commuting. Be careful over stuffing this bag with rigid items. The side zip is not the beefiest of zippers.TL;DR: Decent bag that fits large motorcycle helmets and some gear but quality control is lacking. It lacks any sort of rigid form which can be a con for some but a pro for others. The velcro strip in the top flap will cause unnecessary fraying on the edges of the bag. This is a bag for people that just want a bag with a large main compartment but don't feel the need for organization or extra compartments. It works for me but I can't say it'll last long.---Features and Thoughts---Starting with the outside of this bag, it is made of a water resistant 1680D polyester which easy to clean due to the material but it is NOT rigid. It has a roomy front compartment and two side mesh pockets. The front compartment has a water resistant zipper and inside is a key leash but there is no organizing pockets/compartments (*usable but with caveat). The side mesh pockets can carry a foldable umbrella and a skinny water bottle. The mesh for this side pocket is pretty silky smooth but I am unsure of its durability. There is a top handle but the stitching on it is pretty standard for bags in the price bracket. The back panel is NOT padded but is made out of the same material as the rest of the bag which makes it easy to clean if you sweat heavily. The shoulder straps feel pretty secure and have okay padding but the sternum strap is much to short if you're a larger person. Whistle does not work very well. The reflective tag is nice looking but I don't know if it provides any real utility to riders. In the inside of the bag, we have a 45L main compartment that is lined in a gray polyester material different from the 1680D polyester on the outside. This main compartment has a 17in laptop sleeve/compartment and wide but finger deep (4-5in roughly) zipper compartment for miscellaneous items (*usable but with caveat). The 45L main compartment is roomy enough to fit my XL Bell ADV helmet with some other items like a laptop, jacket, gloves, headphones, and 40 oz waterbottle. The bag will be sometimes hard to close through the velcro, but the buckle strap keeps it nice and secure. Laptop compartment isn't as padded as I would like but it's secured with an elastic velcro strap which is nice but the elastic might not last long. The laptop compartment is not easily accessed through the side zip and will require some finessing to get a laptop or tablet out.If you're not putting a helmet in this bag, it will fit A LOT of stuff in it. It will be more than enough for a weekend trip especially if you're the type to have bags inside of a bag (i.e. packing cubes, dopp kit, etc.). However, it is not very convenient like other travel packs. If you plan on getting it for that purpose. Top loaded/side loading this bag does not give you ease of access as a true travel bag. However, you can make do with this bag.*Note: If the bag is filled up all the way or has any rigid items in the middle/upper part of the main compartment, then do not expect to use these for rigid items. These compartments will only fit small items or loose flexible items like clothing, charging cables, etc. Additionally, if you fill the bag all the way up, because it has no true rigid form, you will see the shape of any rigid items like charging blocks or a phone.---Quality Control/Durability/Design Issues---On my product, there were some stitched areas had loose threads and the buttons to keep the flap folded mis-aligned buttons which cause the flap to get scrunched up on one side when folded but not the other. From a design issue standpoint, the bag closes at the top flap with a velcro strip which can cause the edges of the flap to wear faster and fray if they get caught on this velcro strip. I would have preferred this to be a magnetic, zipper, or cinch closure. The whistle does not work very well and might as well not be a feature.Went on a dirt bike trip and this was perfect to hold my helmet and other things for our plane rideAt first I liked the bag but there is not comfort on your back and the long zipper that runs down your back side well mine broke and the bag can’t hold anything anymore.
