UPDATE: I went from loving to liking. The top has no solid closure. The hanging ties don’t stay when you pull the cords to tighten the top. And The one snap for the purse flap doesn’t stay snapped. I’m going to buy one that totally stays zipped for safetyORIGINAL: I love the various areas to protect items. Side zipper perfect for car Fob as you don’t need to take it out. Two inside zipper areas, and a bonus area between the zipper areas. I’ve only had it a few days but so far it is EXACTLY what I wanted. Will update this review if things change.Received BLACK and TAN "vegan" backpacks ?within 2 business days from purchase for my son. Unfortunately, he thought they were too feminine and regifted the bags back to me. I wanted to give real everyday wear-and-tare observational review. I have approximately 8-10 varieties of day/backpacks ? due to handbags ? normally cause back pain with over usage. I always purchase locking devices for larger zipper closures for security. Therefore, I can't attest to any zipper slippage during wear. With that said, the backpack has various compartments for larger/smaller items. The straps are adjustable and so far the overall bag appears durable... just wish the maker considered metal plated feet on the bottom of the bag for stability and to prevent scuffs. This is such a great alternative to traditional women's handbags. Thankful for the old adage, one man's trash is another's man's treasure. Can pull draw strings and clip button but it opens right back up. Nice size and pockets on the inside are nice as well. Don't really think the side zippers are functional.The purse has may compartment and very durable. Received may complement.I LOVE my new bag. It's the perfect size for me. It has a high-quality feel to it - the metal details have a little bit of weight to them and seem pretty sturdy; I'm pretty confident that they'll hold up for quite some time. The "leather" feels decently thick and is nice and shiny, and smooth to the touch.~My favorite thing about this bag is the fact that it has so many pockets and compartments. It has the two zipper compartments on the sides on the outside, and one zipper compartment on the back.The main compartment has a magnetic closure and drawstring. The inside is nice and roomy. In the front of the inside are two little open pockets which I use for small things like chapstick, gum, breath spray, etc. On the opposite side, there is the main open pocket, with two zipper compartments on either side of it; the outer part of the "flap" is a zipper compartment in itself, and the side that's built into the back wall of the bag is another zipper compartment. It's pretty cool I think.~While the abundance of pockets is my favorite thing about this bag, they also include the only flaws about the bag, in my opinion.The zipper pockets on the outside on either side have rough zippers. They're the kinds of zippers that can be annoying to open/close because they get "caught" on themselves; the "teeth" of the zippers have rough edges. They scrape me when I reach my hand into the pockets. But that's not that big of a deal to me. The zippers on the inside and on the back aren't like that.The lining of the pockets honestly made me chuckle when I first examined the bag when I got it. Why would pocket lining make me chuckle? They sound like crinkly plastic bags when they're bumped or reached into. lol. When I reach into the pockets, it sounds like I'm reaching into a bag of chips. This was just funny to me at first, because I've never seen a bag that has crinkly pockets.~In conclusion, I'm glad to have made this purchase. The price is very fair for what you receive. It's exactly what I expected, and then some. Just enough to fit my water bottle and some other things in, but not enough to be a burden. It was perfect around the city, but was also functional enough to take on our hikes through Malta.I was worried about getting pick pocketed in Paris but it has a drawstring under the top flap that I just tied and it was time consuming enough for me undoing it that I figured it would be more work than a pickpocket would want to do.Piece has already broken haven’t had a good two weeks yetI bought this on impulse thinking it would be great whenever I go grocery or mall shopping so that my hands are free. It is of good quality, but I misread description and I thought that the opening was the type that was against your back (making it harder for people to get inside to steal anything). Being that it is facing out, I don't feel comfortable because I am a sceptic about people trying to steal something out of my bag. Since I'm not a youngin' anymore, I find it difficult to put on, but I'm sure that is something I would have to get used to. The side zippers aren't really functional as you can't even put your cell phone in there. The inside is much like a regular purse with the different sections. If you are expecting leather - it is not. I still haven't used it and am considering selling it since it is not really functional for me, but my return window has passed.When i got the purse it was cute to see a small bag of fragrance inside,but now i know why,on the 4th day of using the bag the plastic smell is now present.
